Conflict-Free Mine
Rough diamonds sourced exclusively from KP-certified mines in Botswana, Namibia, Canada, and Russia. Every parcel arrives with KPCS documentation verifying origin.
Kimberley Process CertifiedCLEARED
Six carefully managed stages transforming rough earth into certified, brilliant-cut diamonds ready for the international market.
Unlike brokers, Anand Exports controls every stage of the diamond pipeline — from mine-direct rough procurement to the final certificate that ships with your order. This integration allows us to guarantee quality, provenance, and pricing accuracy at every step.
Our facility in the Bharat Diamond Bourse houses 60+ master lapidaries and an on-site grading room, while our laser planning workstations are based in Surat — all operating to GIA Triple Excellent production standards.
We source parcels directly from licensed primary mines in Botswana, Russia, and Canada — avoiding secondary markets that obscure provenance. Each parcel arrives with a Kimberley Process Conflict-Free Certificate and full chain-of-custody documentation.
Kimberley ProcessEvery stone passes through our on-site grading room. Senior gemologists sort by colour (D–Z), clarity (FL–I3), and rough crystal quality. Stones that miss our internal thresholds — which exceed GIA minimums — are returned or auctioned off the primary line.
12% refusedSelected rough is scanned with Sarin and OGI Systems technology, generating exact 3D crystal models. Planning software calculates the cut that maximises retained carat weight and light performance. Each plan is reviewed by a senior lapidary before approval.
Sarin · OGIStones are cleaved or laser-sawn along crystallographic planes. The girdle is formed by computer-controlled bruting machines — the circular profile for brilliants, or precise outlines for step and mixed cuts.
Laser-sawnMaster polishers work each stone across spinning iron scaife wheels charged with diamond dust, placing every facet to within .01 symmetry tolerances — with inter-stage quality checks at each station.
.01mm symmetryFinished stones are submitted to GIA, IGI, or HRD for independent grading, then packaged in tamper-evident security pouches, insured for full replacement value, and shipped via our bonded carrier network with real-time tracking.
GIA · IGI · HRD
Wholesale rough parcels from 0.03ct to 5.00ct per stone. Available in mixed colour/clarity lots or sorted by specification. Minimum parcel: 10 carats total weight.
GIA or IGI-certified polished round brilliants and fancy shapes in all standard sizes. Triple Excellent cut grade available across our premium line. Melee and calibrated sizes also available.
Bespoke lapidary services for clients who supply their own rough or wish to commission specific cut specifications — including proprietary branded cuts for jewellery maisons.
A GIA cut grade is a necessary baseline — not the ceiling. Anand Exports uses Sarine's Light Performance analysis on select stones, producing independent scores for Brilliance, Sparkle, Fire, and Light Symmetry.
Sarine reports are becoming a buying requirement for Japanese and European high-jewellery manufacturers who demand measurable optical quality beyond GIA proportions alone.
Return of white light — the primary brightness indicator face-up.
Scintillation — the play of light and dark as the stone moves.
Spectral colour dispersion — the rainbow flashes inside the stone.
Optical symmetry of the light pattern — Hearts & Arrows standard.
Sarin and OGI scanners map every rough crystal in three dimensions before a single facet is cut — maximising carat yield and light performance from the raw stone.
Every scan is checked by a senior gemologist with a 10x loupe. Machines plan the cut — a trained eye still makes the final call.
“Doing the right thing and producing the finest diamonds are not competing goals. From Kimberley Process compliance at the mine gate to acid-free packaging at despatch, we hold ourselves to standards that exceed what any certification requires.”
Our Commitment — the polishers sign the inside of every parcel paper. Ask to see one.
Anand Exports does not knowingly purchase, trade, or sell diamonds that originate from conflict zones or that are used to finance armed conflict. We support and comply fully with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme and require all our suppliers to do the same.
If you have concerns about the origin of any diamond supplied by Anand Exports, we invite you to request our full supply documentation at any time. Transparency is not an obligation we meet reluctantly — it is a value we hold absolutely.
Gemological Institute of America
The global gold standard. A GIA report provides impartial 4Cs assessment — Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat — plus fluorescence, proportions, and girdle inscription. Founded 1931, Los Angeles.
International Gemological Institute
The largest independent gem certification lab by volume, with grading facilities in Antwerp, New York, Mumbai, and 15 other cities. Preferred for the Asian wholesale market and lab-grown diamonds.
Hoge Raad voor Diamant
The premier European grading authority, based in Antwerp — the world's diamond capital. Standard for European wholesale transactions, preferred by Belgian and Israeli buyers.
Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council — the apex body for India's gem and jewellery export industry, operating under the Government of India's Ministry of Commerce. Member since 1992.
The world's largest diamond trading network. RapNet membership requires compliance with strict business ethics, accurate listing standards, and adherence to Rapaport trading terms.
The international certification scheme preventing conflict diamonds from entering the supply chain. Fully compliant since 1989 — all rough diamond imports and exports carry valid KPCS certificates.
World Federation of Diamond Bourses — the global standards body for diamond exchanges. Member companies are bound by a shared code of ethics and international arbitration procedures.

Every polished diamond is supplied with independent certification from GIA, IGI, or HRD Antwerp on request. All rough and polished parcels ship with Kimberley Process certificates confirming conflict-free provenance, along with full customs documentation.
We supply both single certified stones for bespoke commissions and bulk calibrated parcels for manufacturers. Minimum order is flexible and discussed per inquiry — we work with independent jewellers and large luxury houses alike.
Yes. We export insured, fully documented shipments to our six core markets and beyond, including the United States, Belgium, Israel, the UAE, Hong Kong, and Brazil. All shipments include certification and Kimberley Process paperwork.
Laser planning uses 3D scanning and optical modelling to map the interior of a rough crystal before cutting. This maximises carat yield and light performance, ensuring each finished diamond achieves the best possible cut grade from the available rough.
Standard polished orders ship from existing stock quickly. Bespoke lapidary commissions, including proprietary branded cuts, have a typical turnaround of 6 to 12 weeks depending on shape, size, and quantity.
