Wholesale diamond manufacturer since 1989.
A family-owned house from Surat — where four decades of lapidary mastery meet laser-mapped precision, serving luxury jewellers from Antwerp to Tokyo.
A family name synonymous with diamond excellence.
Anand Exports was established in Surat — at a time when India was rapidly becoming the world's foremost diamond cutting and polishing hub.
Our founder, with nearly four decades of rough-stone intuition, built the business around a simple principle: that every diamond, however small, deserves to be treated as irreplaceable. That ethos has guided our selection, planning, and polishing decisions every single day since.
Today, the second generation of the Anand family continues this legacy — integrating cutting-edge laser planning technology with old-world lapidary mastery to serve a global clientele from Antwerp to Tokyo.

What we stand for
Held daily for nearly four decadesEthical Provenance
Every rough diamond we procure carries a Kimberley Process certificate. We conduct independent mine-of-origin audits and maintain transparent chain-of-custody records accessible to our buyers.
Uncompromising Quality
We reject any stone that does not meet our internal grading thresholds — which exceed GIA standards at every clarity and colour level. Our rejection rate of 12% of sourced parcels is our quality guarantee.
Long-Term Relationships
Over 80% of our revenue comes from repeat buyers. We build partnerships, not transactions — understanding each client's specific quality windows, price points, and delivery timelines.
“We believe that a diamond's provenance is as important as its brilliance. The story of where it came from must be one of integrity.”
Founding Partners — Popatbhai Bharodiya · Harsukhbhai Bharodiya · Gordhanbhai Bharodiya · Ashwinbhai Beladiya · Ramnikbhai Bharodiya — no contract has ever existed between the five. None was needed.
The Kimberley Process & beyond.
Anand Exports has been a Kimberley Process participant since 2004 — one of the earliest Indian diamond merchants to adopt the full certification scheme. But we believe KP compliance is a floor, not a ceiling.
We conduct voluntary mine-of-origin audits, participate in the Responsible Jewellery Council's certification programme, and publish an annual transparency report available to all verified buyers.
Sustainability & responsibility
Communities and environment firstConflict-Free Sourcing
Operating under the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme since 2004. Every rough diamond arrives with a KP certificate and full chain-of-custody documentation — we verify provenance before purchase, not after.
Surat Artisan Community
Over 600 skilled artisans — many from multi-generational lapidary families — work in our Surat facility. We fund two schools in the Katargam district offering free primary education.
Responsible Operations
Partial solar installation covering 40% of daytime energy needs, water-recycling in polishing operations, and plastic-free packaging — acid-free paper and recyclable boxes.
Precious beyond the stone.
Anand Exports believes a family business owes something back to the community it grew up in. In 2023, we inaugurated two girls' schools in Surat's Katargam district — built and funded to give the next generation, especially girls, a place to learn regardless of what their families can afford.
It's the same value that shapes how we run the business: we invest in people first, and everything else — the craft, the certifications, the trade — follows from that.
