Anand Exports was established on the bustling trading floors of the Bharat Diamond Bourse in Mumbai — at a time when India was rapidly becoming the world's foremost diamond cutting and polishing hub.
Our founder, with three decades of rough-stone intuition, built the business around a simple principle: that every diamond, however small, deserves to be treated as irreplaceable. That ethos has guided our selection, planning, and polishing decisions every single day since.
Today, the second generation of the Anand family continues this legacy — integrating cutting-edge laser planning technology with old-world lapidary mastery to serve a global clientele from Antwerp to Tokyo.
Established at the Bharat Diamond Bourse, Mumbai. First consignment of rough stones sourced from Botswana.
Expanded operations to include in-house polishing. Achieved first GIA-certified export to European market.
Adopted 3D laser scanning technology. Became a WFDB (World Federation of Diamond Bourses) member.

Every rough diamond we procure carries a Kimberley Process certificate. We conduct independent mine-of-origin audits and maintain transparent chain-of-custody records accessible to our buyers.
We reject any stone that does not meet our internal grading thresholds — which exceed GIA standards at every clarity and colour level. Our rejection rate of 12% of sourced parcels is our quality guarantee.
Over 80% of our revenue comes from repeat buyers. We build partnerships, not transactions — understanding each client's specific quality windows, price points, and delivery timelines.
Anand Exports has been a Kimberley Process participant since 2004 — one of the earliest Indian diamond merchants to adopt the full certification scheme. But we believe KP compliance is a floor, not a ceiling.
We conduct voluntary mine-of-origin audits, participate in the Responsible Jewellery Council's certification programme, and publish an annual transparency report available to all verified buyers.
